2100 Series AutoDrill

The Series 2100 AutoDrill is based on the 2000 Series unit with the addition of a plunger style HydroSpeed feed cylinder. This addition overcomes the limitation of simple pneumatic feed control. The two speed feed rate is standard. The HydroSpeed (sometimes called Hydra-Brake) controls the critical work penetration feed rate and breakthrough process. The HydroSpeed can be provided in multiple locations. This flexibility is appreciated when drilling closely spaced holes or on special projects where flexibility is critical. It also simplifies maintenance since it can be repositioned or replaced without disturbing the AutoDrill body. The diagram below displays the basic optional locations. (Right side on the self feeder is always standard)
